If you share a phone or computer with your abuser, it’s essential to be cautious when seeking help.
🚨 Important Note: After reaching out for support, delete your Internet browsing history, emails, and messages that might alert the abuser to your plans. This includes any websites visited for resources, as well as WhatsApp messages or SMS to friends and family asking for help.
⚠️ Alert: If you’ve called for help, make sure to dial another number immediately after to prevent the abuser from hitting redial and discovering whom you contacted.
>> Taking these steps can help protect your plans and ensure that you remain safe during the process of leaving an abusive relationship.
